“ No Tips policy in this buffet restaurant. Variety of foods to choose from. Special discount for seniors. ”
“ We have always loved the food here; Wonderful selection, terrific taste and the seafood is not only fresh but delicious, well cooked and best quality. We live in the IE and still come back here. It is worth the time, cost and distance. Also-they have done away with tipping, that is probably the 10% service fee but at least my Husband won't get chased on his way from paying by a server screaming about the tip. ”
“ Such a good buffet. I appreciate that they add a service fee so that the workers can get paid. There are signs all over the restaurant stating that the servers are not expecting a tip due to the added service fee which is only 10%. The staff are quick to clean up plates, table, and they refill drinks quickly. The orange chicken is delicious. Most of the food is tasty and warm. The food gets replenished multiple times. The sushi is always cold and fresh. Some buffets have warm sushi with hard rice. The station that cooks various meats is quick and the meat is cooked well. ”
“ People are sleeping on Shiki!! Umi Buffet has been really popular from TikTok but Shiki actually tastes better than Umi. Umi is also pretty chaotic inside and all the food tastes the same. Although, Shiki actually tastes a lot better with the items they had to offer. They also have a lot more variety as well. Also they prepare fresh boba???? That's crazy... Surprisingly, the garlic bread, chicken wings, and the boba stood out for me here haha. As for the Chinese food, they honestly tasted like any other Chinese food restaurant. The sushi here was pretty decent here as well, but may not be as fresh as you like. I've been to Umi the past two times, so trying this place really made me compare a lot. It's also a lot more spacious here as well! The fruits could have been more fresh though. ”
“ We just had a Shiki buffet last week with my family, my cousin and his wife visited us from out of state. We always love Shiki Seafood Buffet so suggested going there and glad they all liked it. We went there on the weekend for dinner, the price is now $41.99 per person, (except kids under 10 are charged $4.1 per age). They have a senior discount of 10% off (65+) so my mom is charged $37.79. They have a huge selection of food and it is even more than before. They have abalone, Buddha jumps over the wall (Fotiaoqiang) the soup that consists of many ingredients including quail eggs, sea cucumber, fish maw, etc. And of course, they have sashimi, sushi rolls, seafood such as snow crab legs, cajun shrimp, steamed scallops with vermicelli, and octopus. They have a grill station for braised short ribs, steaks, and pork belly cooked to order, and a lot of hot food to spare, dim sum, etc. They also have a drink station such as milk tea, boba, and jelly as toppings. We liked all the food except their desserts. (I liked egg tarts and ice cream though) A 10% mandatory service charge was added to the bill was very reasonable. No additional tips are required. For $350 for 7 of us, we think that it was worth it for this price of the buffet, all the food tasted delicious and they had attentive service. ”
“ This place is a lot better than any other seafood buffet in San Gabriel LA quality preparation of seafood variety choice of soup everything is good! I tried other place I realize nothing to compare I'm glad I I went back to see comparison I conclude this place is worthy ”
“ Great Buffet with Lots of Options Had a great time at this buffet! There were so many choices, and the abalone was definitely one of the highlights - super tasty and a nice surprise to find at a buffet. Another cool thing? They have boba! It's always a win when you can grab a drink with cariety if teas Just a heads-up: they do add a 10% service fee to the bill, so no need to worry about tipping. All in all, solid spot with plenty to choose from. I'll definitely be back! ”
“ Don't expect good service. You have to keep looking for a server to refill drinks and even then they will forget, you might have to ask 2-3x before they actually refill it. They also include a mandatory service charge of 10% on all bills. Gets very packed on weekends. But If you're looking for snow crab legs, this is the place. They constantly restock food here even up to 30 mins before closing. There is a decent selection of food for an Asian Buffet. In the back there are a few dim sum options. There was even Liu Sha Bao ( Salted Egg Yolk Custard Buns), they do go out fast but they're try their best to restock it quickly. Surprisingly their egg tarts have upgraded to a regular flaky one, before it was gross. There's a new boba bar that wasn't there before. Wished I knew this before ordering sodas all around. ”
